Affirming Life Through Shared Experiences
The telling of stories that describes women’s experiences of giving birth is a common and important social practice in many cultures. It is through these stories that mothers situate themselves in a broader social, cultural, and medical worlds. We come together in our shared experience.
In contrast, when a woman is deciding to keep her pregnancy she often faces this choice alone.
What if we could impact her decision by showing her that she is not alone? That other woman in her predicament also chose life.
